Lots of people have commented on our new signage and the new logo the office staff is sporting on their work clothes. And quite a few people have asked "What's going on? Did Dr. Carpenter sell the practice? Is he bringing in a new Doctor?" 

Rest assured, Dr. Carpenter is not going anywhere. And he didn't sell the practice. And he didn't bring in an associate. 

We started out just doing a little sprucing up. Now, if you've ever renovated or redecorated a house you know that once you pretty up one thing, everything else starts to look, well, not as pretty.

After 17 years, it was time for a new sign. And trends have changed over those same 17 years so we decided to update the colors. And that led to a new logo. We thought long and hard about what kind of guy Dr. Carpenter is -- cheerful and happy -- and what kind of office we wanted to be and that's how we came up with logo and tagline. Playing off the Carpenter name and his personality, we went with "Building Smiles One Grin at a Time". And that brought us to the happy CMD logo.    

We will probably be updating a few more things inside the office in the months to come so you'll get a new surprise every time you come in to see us. So keep any eye out for our new signs and stop in to say hello when you're in Midtown!

Over the weekend the Columbus Midtown Dental office at 1901 Warm Springs Road got new signage bearing our fresh new logo designed by Steve Martin of Blue Ridge Design Workshop and Sunshine Banners and Signs here in Columbus. 

We have made a few changes at the office but we still have the same great Dentist -- Dr. Robert Carpenter, Jr. -- and the same great staff. Dr. Carpenter wants everyone to know that he hasn't sold the practice. "It's just a new marketing campaign" he says.
